According to the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, summer heat conditions have further strengthened its grip in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh where day temperatures were in excess of 46°C at many places on Thursday. The hottest place in the country was Bikaner followed by Churu, Nowgong and Allahabad. The Palam Observatory in Delhi that recorded 46.6°C as maximum is also featuring in the list of top ten hottest places in India on Thursday.
