The cyclones initially start with some cloud clusters which keep on getting organized. They take various shapes depending upon the intensity of the system. And when the storm is fizzling out, the cloud configuration gain shows signs of disorganizing.

In this picture the cyclone from a deep depression has turned into a cyclonic storm. We can also see the eye of the storm forming. Inflow and outflow clouds that give direction to the storm are also prominent.

The nearly circular shaped eye has formed. This is indication of extremely low pressure near the center of storm. The eye of the cyclone is usually calm but the surrounding walls have very strong winds and convective clouds. When the eye of the storm passes after making landfall very strong winds are observed.

The eye of the storm has disappeared which is a strong indication that the storm is weakening. The cloud field has become more elongated.

The peripherals of the dense central cloud mass is losing its sharpness. The outflow is spreading out, which is an indication of its further weakening.
