IPL WEATHER MUMBAI, 7th of May

May 7, 2013 4:59 PM |

Weather in Mumbai will be breezy when the team from the east coast, the Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the west coast Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in evening’s cricket T20 match. After loosing 7 out of 11, Kolkata will try to tame the resurgent hosts Mumbai Indians that recently folded out the mighty Chennai Super Kings for the lowest total of the ongoing IPL.

Weather in the commercial capital will be warm during the day and things won’t change much in the evening when the match begins as the temperature will be close to 30 degrees at the time. The humidity level will also be in late 70s but sea breezes from the Arabian Sea will give much-needed relief to both team.

Dew is expected during the match due to high humidity levels and that could be a cause of concern for the team fielding second. Sky is mainly clear and seam bowling will not gain from the weather. Had the game been played at Kolkata, it could have faced interruptions as Kolkata is currently witnessing rain and cloudy weather.
