IPL WEATHER HYDERABAD, 1st of May

May 1, 2013 2:18 PM |

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians
Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad
Match starts at 4PM

A partly cloudy sky will give way to mostly clear skies in Hyderabad during the course of the 43rd IPL cricket match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. The real concern for both the sides will be the temperatures during the match. Hyderabad is experiencing maximum temperature in lower forties for the past few days and there will be no letdown by the time the match gets underway at 4 PM, today.

The relief factor for both the teams will be the humidity levels that are expected to be in twenties. Mumbai will be much happier to play at humidity levels less than their home town. Had the match been played in Mumbai, the humidity level would have been in seventies.

Wind conditions in Hyderabad will be different from Mumbai in terms of speed and origin. Being based in interior of Peninsula, Hyderabad gets weak winds from the Bay of Bengal in form of easterly to southeasterly while Mumbai, a coastal city receives stronger winds from the Arabian Sea during this time of the year.
