Rain in Delhi expected tomorrow; day temperatures in India to keep rising

Rain in Delhi is expected from tomorrow onwards. Day temperatures in Delhi will remain in late thirties during the next two days and they will keep rising in other parts of the country in central, east and south during this period. Rain is expected in northeast and Tamil Nadu & Kerala at one or two places during the next 24 hours.

A Western Disturbance will affect the north and northwest plains during the next 48 to 72 hours starting from tonight. Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will start getting rain from tonight. Rain will increase and spread to other parts of north in Uttarakhand and over Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana and over Delhi as well from tomorrow as a cyclonic circulation will reside over Rajasthan.

The weather in Delhi tomorrow may have a partly cloudy sky and light rain will be witnessed. Temperatures in Delhi will be in late thirties during daytime making afternoon hours uneasy. Wind conditions in Delhi will change thus easterly winds will be experienced tomorrow.

Day temperatures in India are in their late thirties in east and Gangetic plains. Minimum temperatures are near normal due to northwesterly winds but they will rise after the next 24 hours. Winds will become southeasterly in these parts during the period.

Central India and its Peninsular regions like south Madhya Pradesh, interior Maharashtra, Orissa as well as interior Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have day temperatures in 40s. These temperatures will maintain the trend and hot afternoons will repel venturing outside.

There is a forecast for rain in Hyderabad during next 24 hours with day temperatures remaining at around 40 degrees. Bhubneshwar in Orissa has day temperatures at around 42 degrees. Nagpur in interior Maharashtra has also maximum temperatures around 41 degrees while Chandrapur in the region has a highest maximum of 43 degrees in the country. Gulbarga in Karnataka clocked 42.2 degrees. Over 9 hours a day, heating has led to rise in day temperatures in enitre India.

Rain is expected in south Tamil Nadu and Kerala as a trough of low pressure area runs from Telangana to south Tamil Nadu. Rain is also expected in northeast in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland at one or two places during the next two days.
